Features

Low profile design
The table compares our Scroll Chuck TM series, Scroll Chuck NST series and Scroll Chuck SRK series with standard covers. The TM series is designed to be thinner and lighter than standard chucks.

Maximize Your Machine's Load and Height Capacity
The lightweight, low profile body of the chuck makes it possible to machine larger, taller workpieces. It has been developed so that you can make full use of the Z-stroke and the maximum load weight.

Boost Productivity on Your Vertical Lathe
By replacing the standard boring mill jaw with a TM series low profile chuck, you can eliminate the time-consuming process of centering. The standard chip protection cover prevents chips from entering the chuck, making it ideal for use on vertical lathes.

Perfect for 5-Axis Machining
The TM series is designed to provide sufficient strength when attached to the table or tombstone, so it is thinner and lighter than a standard scroll chuck. This thin and lightweight characteristic is effective for use with 5-axis machining centers, which have restrictions on machine dimensions and load weight.

The radius of rotation of the table during machining is reduced, so the distance the tool travels is shorter, and machining time can be reduced.

TM300 and TM400 have large through-holes
The TM300 and TM400 have large through-holes that can be used by removing the center cover in the center of the chuck and the cover at the tip of the jaws. (The through-hole diameter is 125 mm for the TM300 and 180 mm for the TM400.)
These chucks are particularly suitable for use with rotary tables.
In addition, the 6-jaw specification is also available as standard for holding pipes.
