FLC/FCH Series

The FLC/FCH series is a 6 jaw floating chuck with a chuck size of 24“ to 64” (ø600 to ø1600). It has a built-in floating function that enables 6-point clamping of materials with low roundness.

Feature 1 of floating chuck FLC/FCH series

Floating Function

The chuck has a built-in floating function.

In the first process of ring materials with low roundness, it is possible to clamp evenly at 6 points.

(In our experimental values, the roundness is improved by about 4 times on average compared to a general 6 jaw chuck)

Feature 2 of floating chuck FLC/FCH series

Floating 12 Jaw Chuck with Balancing Jaws

When the floating jaws are each attached with a balancing jaw and clamped evenly at 12 points, further improvements in roundness can be achieved.

(In our own tests, this produced an average improvement in roundness of around 6.5 times compared to a general 6 jaw chuck.)

Centrifugal Force Compensation Function (FLC series)

Compared to a standard hydraulic chuck, the reduction in gripping force due to rotation is about 1/5.

Even if you worry about deformation of thin-walled workpieces and grip them loosely, there is no risk of the workpiece flying off.
